K3658, simple top with a tricky beginning

Okay, so lets begin at the beginning

Stitch the back neck seam, which the top stitching, and the center front up to the circle.

Press everything nice and neat.

Now the tricky part, the front has a self facing which is the short half of the front,

You open out the front and turn the self facing back 

notice the neck seams are on top of each other                 

So now your piece should look like this after it's pressed

Now you can move onto the next step, where you add the back

now you can add the sleeves
